The MeToo# fad in recent years of exposing well known men for rape and sexual harassment has failed and here's why. Purges at the top don't change grass roots behavior. What we are seeing is the utter failure of what was called the New Morality from the rebellious 1960's. That was the abandonment of chastity and virginity until marriage.

You want to stop sexual harassment? Return to what worked better than what we have today. Restore virginity as a virtue. Sexual chastity protected women but for around 50 years that's been regarded as a joke. Our hookup culture is destroying us by more divorce and STD's. It breeds no commitment. No wonder we've had a divorce rate near 50% for years. When I was born it was about 5%. Yeah, 5%. And always remember your children will pay for your lack of commitment in your marriage. The last time I checked couples who shacked up before marriage, or more specifically fornicated before marriage had a 40% higher chance of divorce.

Go back, women AND men, to dressing modestly. Let's be honest and realistic. Men are more visually motivated than women. Ditch the low necklines and high hemlines for clothing that covers more. After all, women, it's what's on the inside of the woman that counts more, right? Modest clothing discourages lust. You see less, you lust less. And men, time to cover yourselves up too. Nobody at Wal Mart wants to see your backside without underwear when you bend over! God wants women to dress modestly as we see in I Timothy 2:9 -- "Likewise I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments." I have always seen a woman in a full length dress and with moderate makup to be elegant and to be accorded respect.

If we're serious about returning to chastity, then it's also time to clean up movies, TV, music and other powerful influences. You can still find other forms of entertainment that are uplifting and engender respect between the genders. And just why has there never been a womens' movement to discourage women from being strippers? Why is there a never ending supply of women all too eager to strip for strip joints or pose practically naked in advertisements? Present yourself as a sex object and you will be treated as one!

God's laws protect. He demands chastity. Hebrews 13:4 -- "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge." Return to chastity and you'll have more respect between the sexes, much less rape, much less STD's, and less divorce. Unless you restore respect for virginity and modesty on the grass roots level you will never get rid of sexual harassment. Are you listening, Hollywood? You made great movies in the past that upheld chastity. We'd go see them if you made them. Clean, truly family friendly movies upholding chastity still do well at the box office. Can you uplift women instead of leading them to be victims?
